Welcome

Yeovil Town - in the heart of the CapitalWelcome to the website for the Capital Glovers, the supporters group for Yeovil Town's exiled fans in London and South East England.

Set up in 2006, we've now been running for three years. Over that period we've:

  • sponsored/cursed the away kits of Londoners Lloyd Owusu and Keiran Murtagh
  • travelled as a group to numerous games, be it home games at Huish Park, weekend trips to glamourous locations such as Leeds and Bristol, or the glory of the Nottingham Forest play-off victory
  • produced and sold out of out our Capital Glovers branded pin badges
  • organised venues for the communal watching of Yeovil's televised appearances
  • entered two 5-a-side teams in a local London midweek league
  • enjoyed a December weekend away to Bilbao, taking in the unique atmosphere of an Athletic Bilbao - Real Madrid battle, accompanied by our sizable Capital Glovers Basque flag
  • adopted a non-league green and white team in the shape of Whyteleafe
  • watched a number of Somerset cricket games during the summer months around the South East (Lord's, the Oval, Tunbridge Wells, Arundel, Croydon)
  • To get involved please contact us through emailing info@capitalglovers.com. It's fair to say that many new and lasting friendships have been formed by those getting involved so far.
