Engineering works on the line from Liverpool Street mean that Fenchurch Street is the chosen departure station for the Capital Glovers' trip to Southend. To make thing a little more difficult, the circle and district lines to Tower Hill (for Fenchurch Street) are suspended this weekend. Check out the TFL journey planner for the best way to get to the station.

The Capital Glovers football team are playing a 7-a-side match against the 'All At Sea' Southend fanzine team at 10:30am on Saturday. Consquently we have two alternative train departures from Fenchurch Street. Those heading for the 7-a-side match will be leaving on the 9am departure, the second group will be meeting at 9:45am with the aim of catching the first train after 10am.
